A (slightly) better day

Having struggled to sleep, knowing that John's not coming back was easy for me - not so for John's widow and children.

It's so tragic that someone so young (44) could die and leave such a wealth of family and friends wondering what on earth we could have done to prevent this scenario from playing out.

We await the coroners verdict with baited breath.

Today was challenging, wondering why we do what we do and where it's all leading.

On a light note, I had a Barleaners meeting this pm and we were able to plan out Summer Ball after a wonderful steak and chips.

Kate's pregancy is going well so far too. So I have a lot to be grateful for.
